designed cutting tools for use in jig borers, lathes and other machine tools
for
operations requiring accurate boring and truing of small close tolerance holes.
TRUEMADE BORING BARS are precision ground from general purpose grade solid tungsten carbide in a convenient range of sizes.
TRUEMADE BORING BARS are helical
ground with cutting points honed to an angle of approximately 30 degrees for
immediate use.
The helical back rake averages 7 degrees.
TRUEMADE BORING BAR shank diameters are made as large as clearance requirements permit to assure maximum tool strength and rigidity.
